Sometimes, something simple can tell a story if we just stop to notice it. Like this piece of dry twig lying on the green grass. At first glance, it might just seem like natural debris that has fallen from a tree. But upon reflection, it tells the story of a long journey: from a once-green shoot, a strong branch supporting leaves, to finally becoming brittle and falling back to the earth.

Around it, small grasses grow vigorously, filling in the gaps in the bare soil. There are also dried leaves scattered about, as if to signal that every life goes through its own cycle. The young leaves, once fresh green, have now turned brown, brittle, and fallen to the ground, but there they provide natural fertilizer for the grass and other plants to continue growing.

I see this simplicity as a reflection of the human journey. We are born, grow, fulfill our respective roles, and then one day return to the earth. But between the beginning and the end, there are so many stories, roles, and contributions we can make. Just like this twig, which, though seemingly useless, is actually fulfilling its role in the circle of life: providing a home for small insects, providing fertilizer for the soil, and reconnecting with nature.

The contrast between the green grass and the dry twig also reminds us that in every situation, new hope always grows. Life never stops; there is always a balance between what is lost and what is found, between what is fragile and what is strong, between what dies and what is reborn.

Looking at this simple scene makes me realize that every small detail around us has meaning, if only we pause to notice it. And perhaps, in the silence of the dry twig and the green grass, we can discover life's simplest lesson: that everything comes and goes in its own time, but nothing is truly lost in the cycle of life.
