Part 3

As the dawn broke, the hustle and bustle of a new day began in the village. The chirping of birds, the bells of cows, the glint of dew on the rice fields, all in all a different morning. But the restlessness of the previous day still lingered in Rahat's mind. What he had written in his diary at night still made his heart tremble.

His father called him, "Come on, we have to go to the field." He got up despite his reluctance. Even as he worked on the land, his mind kept wandering elsewhere. Every time he wondered what Tanya was doing now? Did she even think of him?

On his way back from the field, Rahat suddenly caught sight of Tanya. She was sitting in the shade of a palm tree and reading a book. There were a few friends around, but Rahat only caught sight of her. Her hair was blowing in the wind and covering her face, and Tanya was lost in the leaves.

Rahat stopped and stood some distance away. His chest was pounding, but his feet were not moving. Just then, Tanya looked up. In an instant, their eyes locked. For a second, the surroundings seemed to merge.

Tanya's eyes had a kind of curiosity today, as if she wanted to know, are you looking for me? Rahat felt that even without saying a word, she understood everything. However, the moment did not last long. Her friends called out, and Tanya averted her eyes. Rahat moved away with a heavy heart.

In the afternoon, there was a small function in the courtyard of Tanya's house. A few relatives had come at the invitation of someone's wedding in the neighboring house. The house was filled with music, laughter, and noise. Rahat was also quietly watching from a distance. Even though Tanya was busy with everyone, her eyes were repeatedly searching for Rahat without realizing it. But he was hidden in the unfamiliar crowd. This is a strange game, both of them are searching, but they are not moving forward directly.

When Tanya was sitting alone on the veranda at night, an unknown confession also gathered in her chest. He said to himself, today was a strange day. That morning's vision, that silent search in the afternoon, and this restlessness at night... everything is pushing me in one direction. Maybe I'm going to drown. But if I do, that sea has only one name, just for you.
