Hi all, this is my entry for ZapFic50Monday. Hope you'll like it.

The chief clerk had been unwell and went for a heart bypass operation. She was given two months of hospitalization leave to recuperate. In her extended absence, the Administration Department was in a state of frenzy and panic. Now, they finally learnt of the importance of their beloved chief clerk.
