I have this funny liking. I love to see prawns curled up when being cooked. Same goes to squid. Maybe I am just weird. To see prawns turn colour in such a short time then curl up, is kind of satisfying. Anyway, that's the first thing comes to my thought when I look at this writing prompt.

Maybe that's the reason I love to curl up when I sleep. You know, like baby in the womb. My roommate couldn't stand this position because sometimes she felt I might accidentally kicked her so we separated our beds. Haha. When you curl up and sleep, you feel safe and secure. Comfortable. Relaxing.
Then, I got married. Then, I got children. Somehow, my prawn-curled-up-sleeping position gradually disappeared. Because, the mother instinct nature kicked in, you wouldn't want to hurt your children. Oh yes, I love co-sleeping with my children. Soon, they will not prefer my accompany anymore, I better treasure this moments now.
Speaking about children, I saw before once, how they curled up in fear when I raised up my voice. I couldn't remember what happened but I was out of control. It was a mess. A mistake. And I told myself to never raise up voice again. I saw like a monster yelling at the children. They were so scared till they curled up. Not good parenting.
Till today, I am still improving. I can say I am better now, maybe raised up voice once in every 3 to 4 months. I pray God helps me to have more patience on the boys. While they can drive me nuts, they still need my advice and encouragement, not screaming and yelling. And yes, I stopped beating all together. I beated the eldest few times. The result was none other than broken hearts in all of us. Totally a disaster.
I wrote on this before, and I can write again. I always remind myself these three words — ONLY LOVE TODAY. And if it is not emergency, don't scream. This is a reminder for myself only.
And recently, I tried to doodle with the prompt given. So here it is. Curled up prawns. Because I love love. I HEART LOVE. I LOVE HEART.
