Or from people stealing content? Maybe that's the issue.
The thing is, I think people can generally recognize that my content is my content. I have a voice I write in. I run my Punday Monday contest. If someone was sincerely concerned that I was stealing puns for over 7 years, they could just ask... and see my interactions with others and engagement blah blah blah.
But no, people who run programs make rules that they're then going to enforce themselves rather than looking at things on a case-by-case basis because that's easier for them. But it's not easier for the people that they've decided they're going to make the rules for. I was invited to post in Proof of Brain some time ago. Seems like an appropriate place to put the occasional Punday Monday. But not if I'm going to be harassed for my identity...Is that why I got that message? Or did I just pop up in someone's feed. Ugh. Talk about stressful. Why there gotta be identity cops on here?
They have always been here from the day Hive started and I thought the creative ones gathered at one place. The main problem? No one reads and it's too much trouble to hit a button and have a peep in someone's accounts or comments. It's not too much scrolling and I should think that if they are sooo interested and curious this is the easiest thing to do. Or?
Proof of Brain did at least proof something.
Stressful. A platform, a hobby shouldn't be this way but fun. I hope you can slide it off there are plenty of places where you can host a contest and the freewriters is one of them.
