In my country, the dinners of December 24 and 31 are accompanied by the tradition of making hallacas with the family, and serving them that night, and they are accompanied with chicken salad, ham bread and black asado. The taste is really special, and I enjoy it very much, especially the reheated for the next day.

In my house every year we have dinner at 12 o'clock at night, this dish becomes the last meal of the day and the first of the next day.

This year we didn't have dinner at this time because my mother-in-law was with us and I felt sorry for her to wait so long to eat, since they have dinner early. Although this 31st we almost had dinner at 12 o'clock, she had to wait anyway, but she enjoyed it and was happy to welcome the year with us.

The nice thing about eating together at the table and doing it at that time, is that we end one year together and receive the next one in the same way, and what better way to do it than eating and toasting because we are here for another year, and with the hope that God will allow us to live another one.

Nice New Year's Eve tradition. I wish I had something like that with my family. You are so lucky.

Hi my dear friend!! It's never too late to start a tradition!!

Once I start a family, I'll try that.
