I will love you every second of my being,
I will be here when you want a hug
in the distance, my hand can hold,
an invisible bond in inner time.
If you need a soul to listen to you,
I will be by your side in silence
my invisible eyes, serene struggle,
attentive to everything you say.
Because I promised to love you every day,
on the best and worst days
of the calendar,
even though you have left,
I will keep my promise,
and you will always be in my poetry.
