Hay veces que uno piensa que la gente cree que todos son tontos y que ellos son los únicos que pueden saber o no como son las cosas y ciertamente es algo que me canso de ver cuando por ejemplo uno va con mecánicos o consulta ciertas cosas o servicios en algunos lados, pues de cierta manera, acá la “viveza criolla”, es algo que se ha desatado mucho últimamente como un modelo de, necesito agarrar dinero lo haré a lo mas que pueda a costa de otro ingenuo.
Y es que muchas veces se quieren aprovechar de la ingenuidad de otros o simplemente creyendo que el otro no sabe, le lanzan todas las “cartas” para ver si se las carga todas sin siquiera decir algo o refutar esto, pues muchas veces las personas con tal de resolver siempre y cuando tengan el dinero necesario son capaces de pagar lo que les pidan por este producto o servicio.
Hace unos días fui a una casa de repuestos con la cual tengo cierta confianza ya por el trato que tengo con algunos de sus vendedores y veo como por ejemplo llego una muchacha joven al lugar, preguntando por una pieza que de cierta manera es un poco “universal” por así decirlo como pueden ser las bujías, ya que de cierta manera estas aplican entre distintos modelos y marcas entre si sin necesariamente ser estrictamente unas para algún vehículo en líneas generales.
La muchacha llegó diciéndole a un vendedor que estaba buscando “esta pieza” que se le había dañado al carro y que el mecánico le había dicho que tenía que cambiarlas todas y que comprara el doble de lo que necesitaba por si acaso algo y yo todos escuchando esto quede como “¿a...?”, pues no me hacía sentido este razonamiento, y más que el mecánico le había dicho a ella que fuera a un negocio en particular que no era precisamente en el que ella estaba, pero que vino acá por preguntar y tener una segunda opinión del caso.
Pues cada bujía se la estaban cobrando a 20$ y esa camioneta que ella tenía utilizaba dos por cilindro (una Grand Cherokee) a lo que las cuentas no le cuadraba cuando el mecánico le dio una cantidad de alrededor de 200$ por todo y que no se creía el cuento de que en ese único negocio iba a encontrar las bujías, a lo que el vendedor le comenta dos cosas, una que se querían aprovechar de ella y dos, que simplemente cada bujía de buena marca y calidad le saldría en 10$ a lo que contrasta mucho al valor que le pedían en el otro lado y ni hablar de lo que cobraba el mecánico pro su instalación..

A few days ago I went to a parts store with which I have some confidence because of the dealings I have with some of their sellers and I see how for example a young girl came to the place, asking for a part that in a way is a bit "universal" so to speak as may be the spark plugs, since in a way these apply between different models and brands without necessarily being strictly one for any vehicle in general lines.
The girl arrived telling a salesman that she was looking for "this part" that had been damaged in the car and that the mechanic had told her that she had to change them all and that she should buy twice as much as she needed just in case something happened and I was like "to..?", because this reasoning did not make sense to me, and more that the mechanic had told her to go to a particular store that was not exactly where she was, but that she came here to ask and get a second opinion of the case.
Well, each spark plug was being charged at $20 and the truck she had was using two per cylinder (a Grand Cherokee) and the mechanic gave her an amount of around $200 for everything and she didn't believe the story that she was going to find the spark plugs in that one store, To which the seller told her two things, one that they wanted to take advantage of her and two, that simply each spark plug of good brand and quality would cost her $10, which contrasts a lot with the value they were asking for on the other side and not to mention what the mechanic was charging for the installation..
