Siempre digo que cada uno es fuerte en algún aspecto y débil en otro, pues evocando o rememorando lo que es aquella historia de la mitología griega, todos tenemos al menos un talón de Aquiles por decir poco, pues no existe nadie perfecto o que sea capaz de evitar equivocarse nunca en la vida.
Pues esto es algo que va en la naturaleza humana de cada uno y no hay porque sentirse mal con este hecho o, por el contrario, echarse al suelo por tener alguna “debilidad” o carencia en algún aspecto, y es que algunas cosas sí que son mejorables hasta cierto punto, pero otras que si de plano quedan tal cual.
Y podemos verlo en cosas tan sencillas como por ejemplo en algunos puestos de trabajo, en ellos que podemos tener a un experto “contador de frijoles”, al tener una precisión que roce lo pedante, pero que, al mismo tiempo, pónganse esta misma persona es impuntual o siempre espera a última hora para cumplir con lo acordado.
Igual pasa muchas veces en un nivel escolar en el que, por ejemplo, vemos como muchas veces hay padres o profesores que buscan siempre “exprimir” o exigir a algún alumno algo que quizás no va tanto con él o simplemente pudiera ser su talón de Aquiles, pues si bien es cierto que todos debemos ser integrales en cuanto a conocimientos básicos, hay personas que por ejemplo se desarrollan más en materias de artes, o literatura y no tanto en matemáticas o algo más relacionado con el cálculo, o viceversa.
Esto no está mal, pero hay que saber reconocer y algunas veces no llevar las cosas a un nivel que pueda quizás hacer sentir inútil a otro o hacerle burlas de, por simplemente tomarlo por “tonto” o hacerlo ver como un “bruto” para X materia en particular, pues de cierta manera, hay de todos y para todos y quizás por ejemplo ese niño que hoy le cuesta las matemáticas, será un gran artista plástico en un futuro, o porque no también, aquel niño que le cuesta la literatura será un gran ingeniero.
La vida es así, y la diversidad de pensamientos, maneras de ser e incluso de fortalezas y debilidades está a la orden del día, y muy bien distribuido, pues para algo Dios nos dio estos dones que podemos tener cada uno, y la idea de que tengamos debilidades puede pensarse más que como “algo malo”, a ser la oportunidad de tener que compartir nuestras fortalezas con otra persona y que esta nos ayude con la suya, ya que al final del caso no podemos vivir “solos”, puesto que de cierta manera una mano lava a la otra, ¿no?.

I always say that everyone is strong in some aspect and weak in another, because evoking or recalling what is that story of Greek mythology, we all have at least one Achilles heel to say the least, because there is no one perfect or who is able to avoid ever making a mistake in life.
Well, this is something that goes in the human nature of each one and there is no reason to feel bad about this fact or, on the contrary, throw down for having some "weakness" or lack in some aspect, and is that some things are improvable to some extent, but others that if flatly remain as is.
And we can see it in things as simple as for example in some jobs, where we can have an expert "bean counter", having a precision that borders the pedantic, but at the same time, put this same person is unpunctual or always waits until the last minute to comply with what was agreed.
The same happens many times at a school level in which, for example, we see how many times there are parents or teachers who always seek to "squeeze" or demand something from a student that perhaps does not go so much with him or simply could be his Achilles heel, because although it is true that everyone should be comprehensive in terms of basic knowledge, there are people who for example are more developed in the arts or literature and not so much in mathematics or something more related to calculus, or vice versa.
This is not bad, but it is necessary to know how to recognize and sometimes not to take things to a level that can perhaps make another person feel useless or make fun of him, by simply taking him for a "fool" or making him look like a "brute" for X particular subject, because in a certain way, there is something for everyone and for everyone and perhaps for example that child that today finds mathematics difficult, will be a great plastic artist in the future, or why not also, that child that finds literature difficult will be a great engineer.
Life is like that, and the diversity of thoughts, ways of being and even of strengths and weaknesses is the order of the day, and very well distributed, because for something God gave us these gifts that each one of us can have, and the idea that we have weaknesses can be thought more than as "something bad", to be the opportunity to have to share our strengths with another person and that this person helps us with his, since at the end of the case we cannot live "alone", since in a certain way one hand washes the other, right?
