Algunas veces podemos ver como el éxito de algunas empresas, proviene de lugares que quizás no tienes muchas veces la idea de donde puede salir, pues alguna tan básica como puede ser el etiquetado de los productos, bien sean tanto de lo que se tiene en el almacén como pueden ser la materia prima y otras cosas como el producto elaborado.
Pues mediante el correcto proceso de entrada y salida de la materia prima, se puede ahorrar tiempo, ser mas eficiente y hasta incluso sacar ventaja de por ejemplo lo que puede ser aprovechar los recursos sin desperdiciarlos, bien sea por cosas de que, por ejemplo, se tengan las cosas en el almacén, pero no se tenga un orden o un tipo de archivo, o auditoria de donde hay tal o cual cosa, o de qué cantidad hay cualquier cosa, pues en el momento en el que lo necesiten, en caso de que por ejemplo sea algo tan gigante, como puede ser un almacén industrial, pues pasa desapercibido y quizás tenga que volver a hacer el producto cuando quizás está en algún lugar del almacén.
Ya que este problema, sobre todo, va cuando hablamos de una escala grande, pues en una escala inferior, no es nada comparado contra aquello. Y es que en la ingeniería industrial los procesos, son algo fundamental y de cierta manera es generalmente lo que le pueden dar el éxito a las empresas, sea cual sea el proceso, pues el correcto etiquetado fomenta el orden y en una cadena de suministro, de producción o de trabajo el correcto etiquetado representa el aire del cual respira todo, bien sean en los productos no perecederos o no.
