Turning Curiosity into Capability: My Journey Learning a Payloader

Good day everyone coming accross this post, its a wonderful day for me remembering the day i learnt a heavy duty machine (wheel loader), today is exactly 4 months i acquired the skill.

First of all i want to talk about the word "FEAR" fear means two things, first one is " Face everything and rise" second is " Forget everything and run". That is the simple meaning of fear. So relating fear to this skill acquisition, i believed in my self more than doubting myself before i even begun the training, i was curious to learn it, believe me when i said there was no fear at all, the thing which looked like fear i converted it to courage. (Being happy doing something is a big drug to kill fear) So i think i added happiness too

  This is how i actually how i acquired this skill, it was about 5 months ago, the company where i am working, bought a payloader (wheel loader) , the factory manager complained that most of the work being done manually, usually waste time , so he decided to inform the company headquarter about purchasing a new wheel loader for a smooth operation, it didn't waste time they purchased it.

So later they appointed the operators for both morning shift and night shift. So later i said let me approach the night operator and ask him to teach me, because our masters are not usually at the night duty, so i didn't meet the morning operator, i meet the night one, i became friends with him, he usually send me on errands like fetching drinking water for him, go and buy bread for me or so..etc , so success requires obedience and sacrifice so i was doing all that for him.

So one day he said i should come up to the wheel loader, he showed me some buttons , the ignation , the break pad, acceleration pad, the gear etc..so the training he gave me at the first night was just to learn how to go front and back , he said i should not load material on the tipper bucket ,that he will teach me that later

So i said ok, when he went out for few minutes to urinate i decided to load materials on the tipper bucket, so as i tried loading i poured the (wheat) material on top the tipper driver roof, he ran out of his vehicle and said i should come out and sweep out those materials, so all of a sudden the operator came back and asked why did i load while he instructed me not to, i explained to him that i wanted to try.

So the second night he has found out that i improved very well yesterday training and am eager to learn , he later taught me how to load the tipper using the wheel-loader, i later bought drink and appreciated him, within 2days (night) i learnt it do to i removed fear, replaced it with courage and happiness, i sacrificed sleep (break time , some work) , i obeyed my instructor, i added my mind, i saw it as an opportunity instead of punishment, i used pains as fuel to acquire the skill.

So friends and family, i want to advice you to always put your mind in everything you do, when you have no skill or opportunities, create one, there are many around us, just try to identify it, swallow pride and embrace success.
