to slow down every second

like the breeze that lingers,
stopping the sun's dance,
painting shadows on the earth.

Let the hours run slow,
like rivers of crystal and calm,
where love dresses in dreams,
and the echo of your laughter embraces me.
Where I will love you in whispers
and in every heartbeat echoes
your name, soft melody
that closes in my chest.

Where you will love me once more,
like a golden dawn,
like the dew that awakens
the longing hidden in the garden.
Just ask the clock
to slow down its urgency,
that the time encloses the instant,
and know, love, that I'll be here.
