There are no anchors on my wings

You mark my skin with your name,
whispering tattoos on my being,
everyone knows I'm yours,
an eternal secret in this sunset.

Your eyes are oceans
deep, full of promise,
but you don't understand,
that even in chains, my soul is mischievous.

I am free like the wind
that dances in the mountains,
playing among the leaves,
unafraid of the horizons.

There are no anchors on my wings
nor prisons to hold me back,
though your love embraces me tightly,
my spirit in the air unfolds.

You mark my skin, I admit it,
but I can't be just your shadow,
my essence flows like a river,
flowing, unhurried, life names.

Every heartbeat tells stories
Of loves without owner or fear,
where the wind caresses and rises,
where I am my own remedy.

I look at you, and with a smile
I affirm that there are no subtle chains,
I am the wind that embraces the sky,
I am free, in love, without profiles.
