I am now on a giant stage. A music performance stage. Almost the same as the phenomenal Monster of Rock 1991 stage in Moscow. Yeah. I feel the energy of thousands of audiences screaming with clenched fists, punching the air repeatedly. In a sea of people.
They can feel the vibrations of the guitar sound that I play through eight speakers arranged on the left and right sides of the stage. The frequency of each note I pluck emits small seeds. Piercing into the heart of the sweaty sea of people.
I can see in one part of the thousands of audience there is a small group that makes a mosh pit circle. They start to spin, initially orderly but then become uncontrollable. I can see that many of them have mohawks and tattoos and are shirtless. Most of them are wearing army-patterned long-knee shorts.
This is not over yet. This is just the beginning. I just plucked a heavy riff and created a breakdown. This is Drop B. My guitar is a baritone. I will take them to the realm of "ear orgasm". This is just the beginning. The moshing circle was getting wilder and looked fiery. I had just lit a fire. What a nice illusion.
Aku kini berada di atas sebuah panggung raksasa. Sebuah panggung pertunjukan musik. Hampir sama seperti panggung Monster of Rock 1991 di Moscow yang fenomenal itu. Yeah. Aku merasakan energi dari ribuan penonton yang berteriak dengan mengepalkan tangan ke atas, meninju udara berkali-kali. Dalam lautan manusia.
Mereka dapat merasakan getaran suara gitar yang kumainkan melalui delapan buah pengeras suara yang tersusun di sebelah kiri dan kanan panggung. Frekuensi setiap nada yang kupetik mengeluarkan biji-biji kecil. Menusuk ke jantung lautan manusia yang berpeluh.
Aku bisa melihat di salah satu bagian dari ribuan penonton itu ada satu kelompok kecil yang membuat lingkaran mosh pit. Mereka mulai berputar, awalnya beraturan tetapi kemudian menjadi tak terkendali. Aku dapat melihat bahwa banyak di antara mereka berambut mohawk, bertato dan bertelanjang dada. Mereka kebanyakah mengenakan celana ponggol bercorak army.
Ini belum selesai. Ini baru permulaan. Aku baru saja memetik sebuah riff berat dan menciptakan breakdown. Ini adalah Drop B. Gitarku adalah baritone. Mereka akan kubawa ke alam "ear orgasm". Ini baru saja dimulai. Lingkaran moshing semakin liar dan terlihat membara. Aku baru saja menyalakan api.
