To be rich does not only mean that you have money. Yesterday my grandson came to help me move a fat lightered tree from one side of our yard to the other. Since my husband's hernia, he will not lift anything heavy. I could not begin to get it to move. My plan was for my grandson to pick one end up and I will carry the other. He was not having it, he picked the entire log up by himself. Aw, to be young and strong once again.
He got the log to where I wanted it, my other plan was to drive 2 pipes in the ground and set the end of the lightered knot on a flat brick and tie it to the pipes. That plan did not work. It was too big so my grandson dug a 4-foot deep hole and we put the log in it. I did not want to bury any of it but there was no other way to get it to stand, it is just too big. I decided to hang other fat lightered wood on it.
I have three other pieces of lightered wood, one I hung old bottles on, one I hung seashells on, and the other one I hung old jugs, a bird has built its nest in one of the jugs. When I step back and look at my lightered trees, I feel like one of the richest people, I love the way they look.
