Mr. Smith was in his 70s and he used to go to the post office to get his pension cheque each month. For last 10 years since his retirement he made friends at the post office counter. Each counter manager knew him and they used to chat with him in the off hours.
Just like Mr smith, few of the superwisers and the managers in the office were at the point of retirement. And some of them even expired. So with time it seems like Mr smith had nobody to talk to and was forced to face the young blood. And they were being funny towards him.
However with time he made anette a young woman as his new friend in the office. She was giving him grandfather like treatment. One day mr smith arrived again in the office during the lunchtime, but anette met accident few weeks back and he had no clue about her.
He inquired - "where is that little girl at the other counter?"
She is no more Mr Smith.
