Annie was born with bow legs.
But aside that, she was a very pretty 15 year old teenager who lived with her parents at the country side. She was an only daughter too.
Annie had classmates who mocked her for her bow legs saying she was less of them and that people with bow legs shouldn't be in there school.
This made Annie stay away from her friends and became a total cold girl who looked down on her self simply because of what people said.
She wouldn't associate with people too.
One day she locked up herself in her room and was in tears, then her mum walked pass her room and heard her sniffling. She knocked and Annie walked to the door and opened it. Her mom came in and asked her what was going on with her.
It took some hours before she opened up, her mom was shocked that something like this has been bothering her daughter and then she encouraged her to stand her ground and to walk up to her classmates and say to them " I am not INFERIOR ".
Annie listened quietly and went to bed.
The next day, she went to school and this time associated with her friends.
Those same bullies came up to her and asked her what she was doing there that girls with bow legs shouldn't talk to people.
They made fun of her and Annie remembered what her mom had said earlier.
She banged her desk and walked to the front of the whole class and began " I am Annie Austin, I'm not inferior and neither I'm i less than any of you.
Its high time you all stopped making jest of my insecurity.
I'm just a bit different but that doesnt me i dont matter.
She walked out carrying her bag.
Everyone was shocked that she finally spoke up for herself.

And after that day, her insecurity became her obsession.
