Although everyone advised me against involvement, I found myself unable to stay mute. I had to warn her.

She was new in town, innocent and trusting, strolling straight into the very trap others had previously succumbed into.

The charming, smooth-talking man she was about to meet had broken more hearts than anyone wanted to tally.

I watched her from across the street as she stood at the café. My heart hammered.

Should I offer help? She might not believe me. She might even rage.

Still I came up front. Though some truths are painful, silence wounds more.

She heard, though her smile faded, she thanked me and departed.

It's good that she might never understand how close she came to catastrophe.

Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is speak when no one else will.

**Finally, in conclusion,**

We are occasionally put in someone's path to tell them the truth they need, even if they would prefer not to hear it.

*Thank you for your time*. **Shalom**
