Day 2019: 5 Minute Freewrite: Wednesday - Prompt: pattern recognition
She'd ran like her life depended on it. Well it actually did, she thought, none too amused as she ducked behind a stone wall to avoid any stray bullets being shot in her general direction.
Why didn't these mercenaries realize she hadn't exactly FOUND anything! Right, because they were just hired goons. She softly grumbled to herself as she felt along the wall. There were pros to trapezing inside an ancient vault, you just had to develop the right pattern recognition for it.
Just as the shots came way too close for her comfort, she felt a brick in the wall cave in, and before she knew it, the floor under her slanted and gave way.
Down she went further into Wonderland.
