You've gone, you've gone now

You've gone, you've gone now,
leaving behind you abandoned promises.
My verses were left orphaned, without a home,
my lyrics disordered and desolate.
With your departure went my reason for writing,
the desire to go on vanishes in the air.
Loneliness returns to me on this endless day,
my disordered letters once again become desolate.
Once again my tears fall unceasingly,
it rains in my soul, a deluge without end.
Salt water gushes out of my eyes as I sing,
the sea of sadness floods my stream.
In this ocean of melancholy I find myself,
sailing among shipwrecked memories.
My words lost in an inland sea,
my sighs drowned, my dreams snatched away.
