WHAT I SEE
From the window, and the red scarf around the woman's shoulder, it is clear that it is winter time. The woman is taking inventory of what is left to eat. Looking at the expression on the man's face, it is evident that it won't be enough for the couple to feed on until winter is over.
WHAT I FEEL
From the look of things, the man is an engineer, judging from the drawings on the table. He is worried about how to finish the job. His wife, on the other hand, is worried about him, while taking inventory of what is left to eat.
THE STORY
As the winter sun strikes on the window, with ice touches on the pane, Maria stood beside her husband John as he gazed at the engineering drawing on the table. His face was etched with deep concern, his brow furrowed with deep worry. Maria got her eyes fixed on him, the expression on her face a mixture of empathy and concern.
She stood close to her husband as she took inventory of their meager provisions. The food supplies were running low, and she knew that John was also worried about providing for their family.
John's eyes remained fixed on the drawings, his mind occupied with the project that had been plaguing him for some time. Maria knew that look all too well. John didn't flinch, too absorbed in his thoughts. But Maria stood by him, no matter the challenges they might face.
Hello @samueluche07. Both couples are worried. The husband, how to take care of his family. The wife, how to stretch the meager supplies. From your description of the couple, they maintain a lovely relationship and care about the other's concerns. When two are as one, situations have a way of working themselves out for the better. I hope this occurs in the couple's situation in your story.
