Hangovers. I have had couple of drinks at times but never had it up to the extent I was drunk and having hangover. The first time I had hangover was my valedictory service in secondary school, students were so happy they are leaving school and wanted to have the time of their lives. I was 16 by then and have not had more than a shot of whiskey. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and the time was right for students to finally unwind since it’s their day. We all headed for the bar to grab few drinks, little did I know the drinks had been stacked up courtesy of John the head prefect in school. We all had few drinks and partied till the dawn of the day and for sure I knew I have had too much because I was dancing. The last thing I could remember was p close to Fiona and laid my head on the table for a while. Next I opened my eyes I discovered I was in a strange room I had never been in lying almost naked on the bed the next morning. The sun was shining very bright so it was hard to determine the time, I look at the wall clock hang in the room and it dawned on me I had slept for 14 hours straight without blinking. My head banged heavily from the lots of achohol I had took the previous day, my eyes couldn’t open clearly and I felt like throwing up. I staggered my way to the toilet and it felt like I was beaten with a log of wood. I had never felt that way before in my life feeling so numb and unsettled. John came in with a cup
Of coffee to help with the banging a little but still I felt no better. I wanted to throw up more and I was straining my eyes a lot to even see where I was. John advised I should eat then shower then before having some more rest, he went to explain how he had carried me into his car last night drunk that I couldn’t lift myself up, he said threw up twice in his car. I felt sorry for him going through all that stress. The achohol was nice but the hangover wasn’t that cool atall.
