Los jardines pueden ser muy bonitos y a la vista son agradables de ver cuando están bien arreglados, pero también pueden ser un dolor de cabeza. Porque digo esto sencillo, cuando vamos coleccionando flores como el capacho, la rosa y la orquídea, que suelen ser las más comunes aquí es muy fácil hacerlo, plantarlas y cuidarlas, pero a medida que avanza el tiempo nos vamos haciendo viejos y ese cuidado va disminuyendo.
Esto no se puede apreciar mucho en las flores, pero en los patios con grama si se puede ver mejor a lo que me refiero, cuando el monte y la grama crecen se ve todo feo, porque no crecen a la par y con ellos algunas pequeñas matas indeseadas, pero cuando se corta y queda todo plano nuevamente se ve muy pero que muy bien hasta provoca acostarse para descansar. Esto cuando estamos a cierta edad, porque de mayores o ancianos vamos perdiendo movilidad y los huesos se ponen frágiles por lo tanto debemos buscar a un jardinero que nos haga el trabajo.
No siempre se da con un buen jardinero a la primera. Hay quienes, si tienen suerte o van de recomendación, pero los que no deben ir aventurando para ver quien hace mejor el trabajo, algunos lo hacen rápido y sucio, sucio porque no van ordenados, todo es a la carrera por terminar y cobrar incluso en ocasiones pueden cortar algunas matas que no queríamos y por andar de rápido la corta y la esconde para no dejar rastro.
Hay personas que tienen grandes extensiones de jardín que se les hace imposible todos los días mantener el orden y la limpieza, por ende, dejan que se acumule y un día hacen el trabajo rápido, pero sucio, porque al ser tan grande sobre todo en otoño, es imposible recoger y las primeras partes limpias conservarlas porque la cantidad de hojas es increíble y una sola persona no da basto.
En casa había rosas capachos y jazmines, pero el cariaquito que tanto le gustaba a la abuela nunca se dio, los bachacos se comían las hojas y no dejaban prosperar la mata, la de jazmín llegó a prosperar, pero la abuela decidió cortarla porque ensuciaba mucho el patio, y aunque era sencilla y muy bonita más era el trabajo de recoger las flores porque se despegaban con respirar literalmente y se marchitaban muy rápido al despegarse.
