This is my entry to the Writing Prompt by @mariannewest for 16 November 2025, @mariannewest's Freewrite Writing Prompt Day 2923: a can full of kisses.

Another episode of the so-called “Cola Wars” had just finished.
The big and globally renowned soft drinks manufacturer had won another battle against its archenemy, the other big soft drinks producer in the world.
With Christmas round the corner, however, they had to devise another genius plan to dominate the market once again.
The Board met for hours behind closed doors, scratching their heads to come up with an idea that its big rival would find hard to beat.
They had tried using Santa Claus himself in the past.
They had come up with many ideas that proved to be an instant marketing success.
This time, it was a freshly promoted director, who said: “I know exactly what we are going to do! It will be a very successful TV commercial, I’m 100% sure”.
Everybody turned to him.
“This is how the story goes. Someone buys our drink, and after opening the can, they get a can full of kisses, instead of a can full of cola!”.
