Dear Mother (An original poem)

The only selfless entity,
who puts her younglings first.
Her love is Indeed pure and true,
never alloyed or bogus.

She lets the cold pierce through her silk skin,
the sun smite her ebony face,
but she sheltered her infant.

She starves so her moppet will have plenty,
unfashionable so her babes could be exquisite.
Her appetency is to watch them grow.
Unequivocally, she will give herself so
they can live.

I, a bairn to a Mother,
a sister to siblings,
cherish my dear Mother.
