El estado del tiempo. (Esp-Eng)

Papá había estado sembrando calabacitas cerca del río, algunas de ellas ya tenían buen tamaño como para comerse, pero el quiso esperarse un poco mas porque decía con esa agua se darían las calabazas más grandes que jamás hubiera visto, el estado del tiempo decía que habría lluvias moderadas y eso era muy bueno para las calabacitas, pero no todo sale como quisiéramos, en lugar de lluvias ligeras llegó una gran inundación que se llevó todo lo que teníamos, de las gallinas, el cobertizo y las calabacitas no quedó nada. Mamá estaba feliz de que no nos hubiera pasado nada, pero papá estaba muy enojado, se fue de la casa y no volvimos a saber nada de él hasta una semana después que mamá lo encontró tirado afuera de la iglesia del pueblo.
