Becca stood at the end of the bar wiping up spilled beer from a patron who left. She heard her coming before she saw her. There was no mistaking Braddie's voice. It was piercing despite the amount of cigarettes she smokes
shotgun style.
Levitt, who smelled like the fry cook he was,came out from the kitchen drying his hands on a stained towel.
"Did you say something, Becca?"
Becca shook her head and pushed cigarette ashes off the bar onto the floor with her left hand while filling a beer for the quiet man hunched at the other end of the bar with her right.
"She's nothin' but trash." Becca mumbled.
Levitt glanced toward Becca and then toward the screeching sounds of a already intoxicated girl and shrugged.
"At least her Daddy got money."
Becca startled when she heard a familiar laugh. That wasn't...? It most certainly was! Her brother Brent entered the room trailing behind a dancing Braddie, Brent seemed completely oblivious to anyone and stared absorbed at abrasive, oversexed Braddie.
Becca pulled her phone out surreptitiously and hit video record. Brent will have a lot of explaining to do to Dad when Dad sees Brent on video hanging on his rival and enemy's oldest trashy daughter.
