You have 7 days (until next Friday) to post a Zapfic50 (a story written in precisely 50 words) using the prompt given (the results will be posted in the comment section of next week's ZapFic50Friday post)
Please note the story must contain no more and no less than 50 WORDS!

The cemetery was crowded. It was the Day of the Dead. The urns were adorned with flowers, and candles formed crosses. She saw the hand emerge from the flowerpot. She tried to scream, but fingers stifled her words. It was a chilling scene, said the journalist who covered the story.
