Half stumbles up the stairs to the stage, clutching my chest in disbelief
"Oh My God!" I half screech breathlessly. "I can't believe i won!" even though i know my production company spent about 50 million on press leading up to this event...and now i have to be shocked and surprised...just like i was last week at the Emmys and the week before at the...sigh...whatever it was that week...but Here i am, standing in front of thousands, viewed my millions...wanting nothing more than to crawl under a rock and die...Time to go to work

Hey, did something happen to ZapficMonday and Zapfic50Friday? For some reason I can't find any new challenges :(
I had to take some time off. ZapFic is coming back from this coming Monday, but from now on it will be only once a week (every Monday there will be either a 240 character challenge or a 50 word challenge). Two contests a week were to difficult to judge so I needed to cut things back a bit.
One contest is better than none. Glad you'll be back :)
