What need of monsters when there are men,
and innocents are massacred 'til all innocence is gone?
What need we of devils dooming all to endless night, if when sleepless, endless bombs fall through the sky?
What need we demon spawn when babes be murdered in the womb, their mums entombed and cold in broken hospitals?
A room? Our tears could fill an ocean.
What need for pits of hell when flames abound and buildings crumble, and the air shreds the last life from desperate lungs?
Why then, the need for monsters
and to what end?

Oh my tears fall in rivers of desperation. For monsters walk amongst us everyday and I wish I could take them away. Oh, woe are we, this human race of which I’m one, take our souls to the laundry so they might be cleaned 😢

What of man’s intent makes a negative become a positive when shadows portray the dawn of darkened skies? Through the fog comes brighter rays of sunshine after a long downpour. Where there is love, there is also hope. I hope all can come to love one another as I would you as a dear friend. Thank you for sharing this with us. Yes! I did not know what to do with the growing grief and helplessness so I also wrote a poem about this horror today. We need to reflect on why we are still so terrible, why the world creates so many roads to success for terrible people, enabling them to multiply their harm?
