"Moonlit Musings"

00.jpg

The night's soft whisper wakes the sea
A gentle melody, for you and me
The moon, a glowing crescent shape
Lends magic to the waves' soft escape

In this quiet hour, I ponder fate
The twists and turns that shape our state
The choices made, the paths we've chose
The loves we've lost, the dreams that glow

The stars above, a twinkling show
A celestial tapestry, infinite and slow
A reminder of the mysteries we can't define
The beauty and wonder that surrounds us, all the time

In the stillness of this moonlit night
I find my heart, my soul, my light
A sense of peace, a sense of place
A feeling that I'm not alone in this vast space.

I like the rhythm of this piece and I especially liked the metaphor of the moon lending its magic to the waves. You paint a good picture and relay the feelings of the narrator as well. Nice write!

Thanks Moe, it's always nice to see an old face that still likes coming here.
