I know I'm not old enough to hold the stars,
Not perfect enough to silence the wind,
Not strong enough to carry the weight of silence.
But I choose peace-
A place where I love asks for nothing, where the road ends, and I begin.
A place where my emotions runs without chaotic move,
A place of refreshment,
A place of genuine beauty and love,
And so i choose peace over fake love, cause it seems like you didn't love me from the genesis,
But i was getting it wrong.
Loving someone who doesn't care what you're passing through.
Your poem carries a softness that grows into strength. I felt the ache of disappointment, yet also the resolve that shines through when you say, “I choose peace.” That choice turns pain into power, and it’s beautiful to read. The contrast between fake love and the genuine calm you long for feels very real and relatable. It’s a reminder that peace is often the greater gift we can give ourselves when love fails. A heartfelt and inspiring piece.
It's a life experience which I spilled out and in a form of metaphor,
Thanks dear.
