Canvas clean, ready for perfection
Possibility seen, devoid of protection
Smooth and serene, lacking disruption
Future foreseen, absent corruption.
Under the layers, troubles boil
Handful of players, tirelessly toil
Take from payers, to endlessly spoil
Ruined prayers, as hopes recoil.
Bad seed, bad apples created
Hearts bleed, problems inflated
Vampires feed, useless debated
Invasive weed, humanity castrated.
Blind date, foolishness covered
Blank slate, can't be recovered
Look straight, Blemish uncovered
Too late, flaws are discovered.

I like how this poem shows that things can look perfect on the outside but still have hidden problems. It reminds me that we should not judge people or situations too quickly.
