There were really strong temperatures, the cause of the storm that prevented us from attending the carnival in Bela Crkva on Saturday.
Held every year at the end of June, this season the temperatures are very high and cause storms.
On Saturday, we planned to visit the carnival, where there is an unavoidable procession in which there are various creations and costumes that are being prepared for months only for this unique occasion.
Unfortunately, the weather ruined everything, even the procession, because it was raining and the storm was reigning, so it spoiled our mood.
But a promise is a promise nonetheless!
My son was really looking forward to the carnival, but due to bad weather we did not go on Saturday, Sunday dawned again sunny morning and a nice clear day, so we decided to go even though the carnival was over, we could still walk through the city park and see some interesting things, and even some decorative details that this carnival left behind.
You are probably wondering what this shape represents and which animal?
This animal in the photo represents a mammoth, once in the area of Banat, which was partly a swampy land, the remains of the bones of a powerful animal were found, which probably once walked at this footsteps a long time ago.
Today, you can see a figure of this animal in practice, which was created just for the carnival occasion.
There is also a museum in Bela Crkva in memory of these animals, and the museum is one of the oldest institutions in the Banat area.
In this carnival event, even the trees had their role and were decorated, handmade in various colors, probably made especially for this occasion.
In the park, one can also notice the former, perhaps one of the oldest models of bicycles, which was also exhibited for the carnival.
And as in every park, there is a corner for the youngest ones.
In the very center of the park, there is a pavilion for ceremonies, which is done with special details that really remind of the past.
Like any park can not be missed, Various monuments in honor of fallen fighters.
And if we didn't manage to see the carnival procession, we still walked through the park, which reminded us of the carnival days with some of its details.
