A day by the Danube 🥰

A day to rest and relax...
I haven't been to Stara Palanka for fish soup for a long time.... Today I agreed with my sister to go there...

A little walk along the Danube, and with that lunch....

We packed quickly and arrived quickly... in the village where the turnoff to the Danube is, I missed a bit... But I managed quickly and got back on the right path... 🤣

There were no road signs to turn and that's why I missed the road.

The day was warm and cloudy, in the distance the clouds announced rain....

Still pleasant in the shade, where the restaurant was...

It was in the shade, and next to the table was a small fountain... We were still close to the water 😉

When we somehow mastered half the portion, 🤣we decided to take a walk by the Danube....
We also ate fish soup and fried fish.... A lot for me... The soup was quite enough...

I barely ate some fish... The friendly waiter packed the rest for us to take home....
At least there's no cooking tomorrow 😁

While walking by the water, we managed to go down to the water at one point... And there in the shade of the branches, I saw a little heron... When she noticed that I was looking at her, she flew away..

The boats were resting next to the water, the water was just as quiet in anticipation of the rain...

The gray sky in the distance slowly progressed and we shortened the walk....

While we were still standing next to the water and looking at the vast expanse of the Danube...
In the distance, near the neighboring shore, a long ship was passing...
