Risk Assessment: Minimal Risk
The Risk assessment is stratified as:
- Minimal
- Low
- Moderate
- High
In order for an assessment to be minimal risk, there has to be one element of any of the 3 categories presented.
A. Presenting Problem
- One self limiting or minor problem
B. Diagnostic procedure
- Laboratory tests
- Imaging
- EKG or EEG
- Urine test
- Pathology sample
C. Management options selected (Examples)
- Rest
- Local, topical measures (gargles, bandages, superficial dressings)
