Since tomorrow I will be traveling to Spain from Kaunas, I thought it was a good idea to spend the day here and sleep at my friend's place.
For those who don't know about Kaunas, was at some point the biggest city in Lithuania and capital! Right now is the second biggest city in Lithuania after Vilnius.
Will not touch about technicalities in this post, as it will only serve as a diary post for my memories.
With my friends, we went for a walk around the city and we had a chance to visit the Christmas tree - which it always get a lot of attention. Actually, this year some random guy set the tree on fire and it was like a big thing which ended up as a funny story for some reason. We then went to a nice coffee shop where you can grab some coffee and read a nice book. The store is going bankrupt and they are selling all the books at a cheap price so I couldn't find anything as everything interesting was already sold but the coffee was very good.
We came back home and made some homemade hot wine with orange, cloves and cinnamon. After that we went to eat at an Italian restaurant and had a really nice risotto and shrimp pasta! It was really delicious!
