Hi there everybody :)
In the north of Portugal there is a region known as Alto Douro with unparalleled beauty and richness, like many others around the world, but this one is very special to me, as I have already made a point of mentioning in some articles that I have shared, always accompanied by photos of these magical places, but I felt it was missing to share another facet that is not so well known, even by those who know this region very well, and that other facet reveals itself in a unique way at dawn, when the first tones of light illuminate the infinite curves and slopes carved along the horizon as far as the eye can see, and how this scenery invites you to contemplate nature in a simple and sublime way.
A magical aura is created when these tones invade the sky, moments before the first sunrise, in a transition that is still made in the visible presence of some celestial bodies.
It is in this scenario that any photography lover gets lost in front of such a miracle, absorbed by the tones that mix in a sky tinged with pinkish purples and deep blues, only to give way in the following moments to the formation of a palette of reddish orange tones and a warm and golden gold. magical, full of life.
In these tones, the entire landscape begins to reveal itself even in the presence of that morning fog, caused by the river and the various springs that flow through the undulating hills, some covered in vineyards, terrain shaped over several years by human action, creating a pattern unique and mesmerizing.
Throughout the photo session, the mix of emotions that this experience evokes prevails, deeply influenced by the state of mind of those who observe with the serenity that the moment provides and deserves.
In short, this photographic work was not the result of chance and for something like this to happen it is necessary to have some logistics and not to be a very sleepy person as it is necessary to wake up very early and be prepared and calm.
This event not only demands that it be recorded but above all that it be lived and experienced.
It is an immersion in a world of natural beauty, history and emotion, a truly unforgettable experience, which is both a tribute to nature and to the passion for photography.
Another one of those moments that are kept in memory to be remembered later and certainly experienced again.
