The Elements Theatre: Creation, Art and Development in the Youth/Teatro Los elementos: creación, arte y desarrollo en el jovero (ENG-ESP)

in Worldmappin6 months ago

Hello friends and travelers from #WorldMapPin and #Travelfeed, today with this beautiful sunrise in the Sierrita.

I've decided to visit a place on the other side of the Guamuhaya Massif. A spectacular site that connects mountain traditions with artistic creation, music, theater, literature, and the visual arts.

What would that place be? El Jovero, the location of the local development project, Los Elementos Theater Group.

This group was created by Professor José Oriol González, who is an excellent host for all visitors.

Of course, for another long trip we took a Guarandinga again.

Once you pass through the gate, you clearly understand that you have entered an artistic community that respects local realities and coexists directly with nature and the surrounding reality.

From this site, the group has created various productive spaces, in addition to performing various theatrical presentations for nearby communities.

Various works of art greet us in the open countryside, although sometimes it is unclear whether the buildings themselves are also works of art.

Don Quixote always fighting against the windmills.

As is usual in this place, we were welcomed by Mr. Oriol and, to our greatest surprise, by one of Cuba's most renowned contemporary visual artists, who intentionally built a home, workshop, and gallery in this space.

After an excellent conversation with both artists, who explained the project's characteristics, I was able to enjoy several works by Nélson Domínguez and capture all the possible reality on my camera, because there is no better opportunity than this to experience catharsis with the works of an artist who is present in many galleries and museums around the world.

The area of the house, within the entire complex, is practically another work of art: the chairs, the table, the eating utensils—everything is a celebration of creation and art.

Afterward, our host showed us the project's honey production, presenting honey-based medicines and even jars of local honey. I confess my mouth was watering like Winnie the Pooh's.

Here I had the opportunity to see the bees up close, and I'm surprised they didn't sting me. Apparently, they're well-behaved with visitors.

Back at the Ranchón, we drank the local natural coffee and enjoyed another pleasant conversation surrounded by the breeze that the countryside offers.

Finally, I couldn't help but take photos of the community's interesting green areas and the originality with which they were created.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and if you liked it, in addition to voting, please leave your comments so I can share your thoughts and advice for my next posts. Thank you.

Hello! Thank you very much for posting in the Worldmappin Community 😃.

We noticed that you included more than one PIN code in the post. This is not necessary and can lead to double pinning. If you are writing about a trip with different points of interest, it is advisable to indicate only one PIN of the most important place or central location.

Double pinning can lead to problems for our curation, so if you keep doing it we can not guarantee you to be considered for our daily Travel Digest.

We recommend that you obtain the code either from https://worldmappin.com/, or by selecting the location directly on the small map at the bottom of the text editor in the PeakD interface.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our team on our Discord channel.

Cheers!

Hi, thanks for the clarification. I apologize for what happened. I'll avoid double-pinging in the same place. I have a question to learn more about Hive and you. If the post is a tour, can I ping in different places?

Hi there, good question. We are working on that feature but haven´t implemented it yet. So please also when it is a tour, only pin one place.

Ok, I understand, a single ping for the entire route in the most important place.

Yes, exactly.
