I read cowboy/western stories too in my carefree youth just because I had plenty of time a loved reading any books I could find in the house. I loved joining Biggles and his friends on their adventures the best though.
Marilyn was very good at turning on her special appeal that so many really loved. It was all so long ago and still get amazed with posters of her still on walls in that dress that is not my style either.
