Hello traveler,
There are many interesting things when we talk about traveling, surely you can really imagine in your mind the excitement, beauty and experience of being able to get to a place that you have wanted for a long time. Bangkok is one city that always makes me miss and want to always visit it. Just imagine, I've never even set foot in Jakarta (the capital of the country where I live; Indonesia), in fact I've been to the capital of Thailand more often, already 10 times since 2013.

I have always loved the city of Bangkok and its contents, from food, entertainment, vibes and many other things that are difficult for me to describe, where I can freely experiment without worrying. The city of Bangkok is one of the cities that many tourists like, one of which is the culture and traditions that are thick in the community.

When talking about the city of Bangkok, Thailand, surely we can't miss the many interesting attractions to walk around the temples, beach entertainment and markets (like; floating market or night market). This is a must-have wishlist to explore in Bangkok, Thailand. However, there is one exciting thing that can be made into a new wishlist on the itinerary if you are going to go to Bangkok, one of which is Lumphini Park.

Lumphini park is one of the largest and largest parks in the city of Bangkok, located in the middle of the city and is one of the faces of the city of Bangkok. Surely you will be surprised, why does it have to be lumphini park, isn't it just a park, at most there are only trees and a large yard, what's so exciting about just going to the park?

So, there are many things you should know that going on a trip abroad is not only seeing interesting things, but we can see a different point of view from the culture and habits of the people. In Lumphini Park, we can see many local people doing activities such as jogging, sitting relaxed in the park and taking their pets around the park and so on. Apart from that, Lumphini Park is very interesting to explore because it has many interesting attractions such as a very large, shady park, lots of green trees and a large lake. Curious, right? Read on until it's finished, Hivers!

Well, lumphini park is a large park and is in the city of Bangkok, for access to lumphini park, you only need to take a bus, taxi or grab motorbike to get there. It's quite easy and cheap if you use public buses that have been provided by the local government. So, below are some bus number instructions that you can use to go to Lumphini Park.

Not far from the bus stop to the Lumphini Park entry gate, I passed a small bridge to enter, then without paying for a ticket, we are free to walk or use a bicycle to go around Lumphini Park. At that time, the sky was so bright, it was perfect for enjoying the excitement in Lumphini Park. This public area is open from 04.30 am – 11.00 pm every day, make sure to maintain cleanliness in the lumphini park area.

Lizards in Lumphini Park

So, here are the most interesting attractions in Lumphini Park, you won't find them in any park, one of the attractions that is of great interest to tourists, Lumphini Park has monitor lizards that swim freely in an artificial lake. You can see up close the monitor lizards that live very well here. There are some that are on the plains, but there are definitely a lot of them in the lake. I saw some relaxing by the lake to enjoy sun bathing, occasionally sticking out their tongues.

The lizards here are fed and cared for very well, their bodies are very stocky and sharp. I'm a little hesitant to approach the lake, I'm afraid they come to me and eat me. I like seeing dragons in Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Out of curiosity about the lizards that live freely here, I pay close attention to details.

Lizards really like to take shelter in the roots of a coconut tree beside the lake, I can't even distinguish between the colors between the two, just be careful here, because if you make a wrong move then you can be attacked by the monitor lizard, and also avoid animals that are stressed because they are disturbed by humans.

Interesting isn't this lumphini park?

Facilities at Lumphini Park

Here, not only is there a garden with various trees, there is also a hall that can be used for public purposes. Around the hall, there are plants that are so neat and clean, guarded by the cleaning staff here. There is also a statue right in front of the lumphini hall, it looks like it is a statue of king rama with a sword and there are some flowers to honor the king. Apart from that, there are also several monuments that were built around Lumphini Park, such as the Aveo monument which turns out to be a sign of the diplomatic relationship between Italy and Thailand.

Near the monument, I saw a gazebo that seemed to have Mandarin characteristics mixed with Thai culture, you could see in some corners some Mandarin writing and it was painted in gold and red, but it looked a bit like it wasn't taken care of properly because some of the paint had peeled off due to being hit by the rain. and hot sun. Even the floor looks very dirty, lots of dirt and dry leaves around the gazebo.

Not far from the gazebo, there is a lake that is very wide, even wider than the land in the park, there are lots of duck-shaped paddle boats and can be rented to enjoy the view of Lumphini Park from another angle. But unfortunately, I'm afraid to ride it because I'm alone, if it sinks no one can help me to swim.

The charm of this lumphini park is the serenity, here there is very rarely any noise, in fact you can only hear some crows perching in the trees, occasionally hearing the sound of human footsteps walking. I like to sit on some of the chairs provided, especially beside the lake, I feel calm with the pleasures of nature.

Well, here's my little story about Lumphini Park. If you are confused about finding a comfortable place in the city of Bangkok, it's not wrong to come here occasionally, enjoy the park and some of the animals in this park. Breathe in the air from the residual oxygen produced by the trees in Lumphini Park and enjoy watching some monitor lizards swimming.

See you the next time hive friends!
