Another great post. Really glad I remembered checking your page for what I've missed (a lot :-D ). Reading about your experience, I really should offer myself more to house sit. Though I would only do it for days. My flat is just so comfortable to me, as I know it by heart. I house sat for a week for Ellie and her parents when they went away. It was okay, but their house isn't spectacular. So I only spent the night, walked the dogs, and spent the days at work. But a house like the one your describing? In that environment? Being able to take those kind of pictures? Yeah, sign me up.
