The eastern region of Venezuela has important and beautiful tourist destinations where you can enjoy the mountain climate, the beach and adventure tourism while touring the mountain range of Turimiquire or the eastern coastal area, today I share with you my visit to the town of Caripe located in the state of Monagas and capital of the homonymous municipality, this municipality stands out for its natural attractions and spectacular mountain climate.
When it comes to enjoying contact with nature, Caripe is an excellent choice, the Alejandro de Humboldt Park, which includes a museum and the famous Guácharo cave offer beautiful landscapes and a place to learn about the different formations of limestone rocks, the entrance of the cave is covered by thick vegetation, and inside and with the help of guides you can see various rock formations very curious, there are also high chances to see the Guácharos (birds that inhabit the cave).
La región oriental de Venezuela, cuenta con importantes y hermosos destinos turísticos donde se puede disfrutar el clima de montaña, la playa y turismo de aventura mientras recorres la cadena montañosa del Turimiquire o la zona litoral del oriente, hoy les comparto mi visita a la población de Caripe ubicada en el estado Monagas y capital del municipio homónimo, este municipio destaca por sus atractivos naturales y espectacular clima de montaña.
Cuando de disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza se trata Caripe es una excelente opción, el parque Alejandro de Humboldt, que incluye un museo y la conocida cueva del Guácharo ofrecen bellos paisajes y un lugar para conocer las diferentes formaciones de rocas calizas, la entrada de la cueva está cubierta por espesa vegetación, ya dentro y con la ayuda de los guías se pueden apreciar variadas formaciones de rocas muy curiosas, también existen altas posibilidades a avistar los
Guácharos (aves que habitan el en cueva)
In tribute to this nice bird, a monument has been built on the main avenue of Caripe where you can appreciate the features of the bird, such as its feathers, beak and legs, the sculpture rests on a concrete base that simulates the rock formations of the cave, has an informative plaque and circles decorated with stone that are part of the support of the sculpture, is a place decorated with flowers and special to take pictures as a souvenir of the visit to this magical town.
En homenaje esta simpática ave se ha construido un monumento en la avenida principal de Caripe donde se pueden apreciar los rasgos del ave, como sus plumas, pico y patas, la escultura descansa en una base de concreto que simula las formaciones rocosas de la cueva, cuenta con una placa informativa y círculos decorados con piedra que son parte del soporte de la escultura, es un lugar adornado con flores y especial para tomar fotos como recuerdo de la visita a este mágico pueblo.
The houses located at the foot of the mountain offer the possibility of seeing the fog in the morning and in the afternoon at sunset, although throughout the municipality you can appreciate the presence of fog, these areas in particular offer a nice landscape covered by thick fog, the temperature in this area is also very pleasant and perfect to enjoy a delicious cup of hot coffee, visiting this beautiful town is a great experience to enjoy the contact with nature, observe incredible landscapes and the lovely mountain climate.
Las casas ubicadas al pie de la montaña ofrecen la posibilidad de ver la neblina en horas de la mañana y en la tarde al caer el sol, aunque en todo el municipio se puede apreciar la presencia de neblina, estas zonas en particular ofrecen un lindo paisaje cubierto por la espesa neblina, la temperatura en esta área es también muy agradable y perfecta para disfrutar una deliciosa taza de café caliente, visitar este hermoso municipio es una gran experiencia para disfrutar el contacto con la naturaleza, observar increíbles paisajes y el encantador clima de montaña.

Hola @ikigaidesign, Caripe es un hermoso lugar para disfrutar el clima de montaña y su atractivos naturales, cerca de la cueva se ubica el museo y si sube un poco más (aproximadamente 1 km) podrá visitar el salto la Paila una hermosa cascada en lo alto de la montaña, en el camino hacia ella podrás ver varios manantiales y variada vegetación donde resaltan bellas y coloridas flores, espero que muy pronto puedas conocer este lindo pueblo.

After reading your comment I thought how did I miss that sweet shop in your blog?😅😋 I went back and looked at all the images again but I couldn't find that sweet shop anywhere.🙃 You invited me with the name of delicious sweet, but there is no sweeet😋😄
It is true, you can't see the store, it is very close to the white building that you can see in photo number six, I mentioned the sweets because they are very well known in Caripe and when visiting this beautiful town it is recommended to eat these delicacies.
