I still find it immensely challenging to eloquently put into words what my feelings are about being here. A story of community, friendship, trust, support and much more is embedded in this little treasure of a place. It is, as always, an unpolished diamond until walked into and interacted with.
From having one of the most bruising experiences of my life, to then @erikah pinging places and earning a special place in my heart, to many HIVE'rs coming together to put together an orchestra of a movement that has directly and indirectly impacted the lives of many.
The HiveBeeCon begins today. I am here in Krakow, at the @krolestwo, not only as a visitor or attending the beecon, but also as an experiment. The HVS pilot. But more about it later. In the chaos of the pilot, I have been pretty unsuccessful at managing my own time to make detailed reports in the form of blogs about it.
Myself, volunteers of KBK, and @hallmann have already been busy with the waves of the daily activities at the KBK, but also in prepping for the BeeCon.
The BeeCon starts today and will run through the weekend. I already feel like this is going to be one of the more excellent weekends I will be spending here. The day started with some mapping and planning that @hallmann and I have been working on...and spoilers, enjoying a breakfast that was paid for in HBD.
We opened up and began prepping the venue for the BeeCon, and soon after came @gtg and set up a lot of what only seems to be a foreign language to me. Oh, how nice it would be to be a little tech-savvy. But for now, I will only admire the works that are being done.
Now @mynewlife and @foggymeadow have joined us. We have spent a lot of time already in the days before, but I'll post about those activities on a later occasion. @foggymeadow is emulating in the humblest of ways her incredible art skills by designing the board. @mynewlife has already been a large part of the conversations we are having here and guiding me through many different activities, and in many ways giving me insights into filmmaking and much more indirectly through his actions.
Evidently, @krolestwo is no longer the place that I once used to knew. It has scaled and improved in multiple facets and numerous ways. I am very excited to learn more about the place while I volunteer here for the 2 weeks, but also extremely excited to once again meet HIVE'rs at the Con and make some more new friends. I already met @mipiano and @ph1102 last night.

I hope HIVE will be buzzing about this event in the next days! It would be great to see newcomers posting about it and connecting with different communities here...
