Champa Museum - unique artifacts of the Champa period

in Pinmapple2 years ago

Hello everyone, where did you go today?
If not, I will take you to a beautiful place. It is the museum of the Champa people. This place keeps the artifacts of the Champa period. These artifacts are made from sandstone, they are used in the daily life of Champa people such as worship, decoration,... They are more than a few hundred years old, so you will see that they look quite old.

These artifacts were excavated by archaeologists a long time ago. Champa culture appeared from the 11th century. So the artifacts dug up from the ruins look quite old and there are some broken artifacts. Archaeologists used glues and other methods to stick the fragments together. Although some of the artifacts do not look very beautiful, they have something very strange beauty. They were sculpted in a very different style from today.

Artifacts made from the sandstone of the Champa people are sculpted to look quite rudimentary. The sculpted features on the artifacts look quite round. This is a strange feature compared to modern sculpture. We cannot blame the artists of that time. In the Champa period, tools were lacking and their symbol of beauty would be different from modern times, so they would create works in the style of that time. They make a difference and they enrich the cultural beauties of the Vietnamese nation.

Pay attention to the artifacts. Artifacts are usually statues of gods, mascots or decorations. From there, you can see the beliefs of the ancient Champa people and decorative objects with symbols like fire spots. They represent strength and vitality for the people of this period. There are a number of other artifacts stored in the cabinet, I think they must be rare items that can't be removed.

The space of the exhibit area looks quite large. The museum area is covered with bricks that look quite suitable for the artifacts. The walls are painted with yellow lime to highlight the artifacts here. You can see that in front of each object there will be a board with their names in both Vietnamese and English. They make it easy for tourists and visitors to recognize the distinctive features of the artifact wall. And you do not need to worry that you will not understand the history of these artifacts because there will be a guide of the museum who will summarize and analyze the historical situation of the champa culture period and they will explain the meaning of each artifact for you to understand.

It seems that the Champa period artifacts are quite old, these represent a period in the past that we can remember.

Yes, the Champa artifacts date back to the 11th century so it's quite old. But they have a very strange beauty.

Wow, it looks great and amazing, I really like the artificial work, am so happy to see something like this.
