How is my dear Hive community? I hope that very well, today I come with one more post about my trip to Argentina, specifically my last day of walking in the city of Buenos Aires, on January 3 I had the pleasure of visiting the emblematic Tortoni cafe, which is a stop mandatory for any tourist in the Argentine capital.
This was the only day that I walked the streets of Buenos Aires alone, it is liberating to function well in an unknown place, visit the places that come your way, enjoy being with yourself and appreciate the fact of being a tourist where each detail of the city for you is wonderful.
¿Cómo se encuentra mi querida comunidad de Hive? espero que muy bien , hoy vengo con un post mas sobre mi viaje a Argentina, en específico mi último dia de paseo en la ciudad de Buenos Aires, el 3 de enero tuve el placer de visitar el emblemático café Tortoni, el cual es una parada obligatoria para cualquier turista de la capital Argentina.
Este fue el único dia que camine por las calles de Buenos Aires sola, es liberador desenvolverse bien en un lugar desconocido, visitar los lugares que se topan en tu camino, disfrutar de estar contigo misma y apreciar el hecho de ser un turista donde cada detalle de la ciudad para tí es maravilloso.
The Tortoni cafe, we can find it on Avenida de Mayo 825, is very close to the pink house, that day I walked alone through many places of tourist and architectural interest, what better stop for lunch than this emblematic cafe.
This was founded in 1858, it is part of the notable bars program of the city of Buenos Aires, a program that recognizes 82 premises as the most representative of the city and is recognized for being the second oldest of its kind and the coffee oldest in the city.
El café Tortoni, lo podemos encontrar en la Avenida de Mayo 825, queda muy cerca de la casa rosada, ese día fuí caminando sola por muchos lugares de interés turístico y arquitectónico, que mejor parada para almorzar que este emblemático café.
Éste fue fundado en el año 1858, es parte del programa de bares notables de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, programa que reconoce a 82 locales como los más representativo de la ciudad y se reconoce por ser el segundo mas antiguo de su clase y el café mas antiguo de la ciudad.
This cafe, which currently serves as a museum as well, between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries housed a large number of musicians, writers, artists of all kinds, then in 1926 it was inaugurated in the basement of the tortoni cafe "LA PEÑA" place where the Gente de Artes y Letras Association is responsible for spreading culture in recital presentations, debates, concerts, among other things.
I wanted to see the basement but it is not open to the public or I did not get it.
Many were the emblematic characters that met in that place, currently the place on its walls is full of references, such as sculptures, paintings, decorations and more.
Este café, el cual actualmente se desempeña como un museo también, entre el siglo XIX y el siglo XX albergo una gran cantidad de músicos, literarios, artistas de todo tipo, luego en el año 1926 se inaugura en el sótano del cafe tortoni "LA PEÑA" lugar donde la Agrupación Gente de Artes y Letras se encarga de difundir la cultura en presentaciones de recitales, debates, conciertos entre otras cosas.
Quise conocer el sotano pero no esta abierto al público o no lo conseguí.
Muchos fueros los personajes emblemáticos que se reunían en dicho lugar, actualmente el lugar en sus paredes esta lleno de referencias, como esculturas, pinturas, condecoraciones y más.
To enter the place I had to make a queue of a couple of people, although sometimes the line is long, if you want you can reserve a table by calling the place, from the moment you enter it is an artistic walk, the walls, the mosaics on the floor, the wooden chairs combined with the color of the pillars, everything is perfectly combined, in addition the attention is very good and professional.
Being an emblematic place which receives a lot of tourism, it is normal to see the waiters attend in different languages such as Portuguese or English, I ate a hamburger with rustic potatoes and strawberry juice, it was delicious.
Para entrar al local tuve que hacer una fila de un par de personas, aunque en ocasiones la fila es larga, si quieres puedes reservar una mesa llamando al local, desde que ingresas es un paseo artístico, las paredes, los mosaicos del suelo, las sillas de madera combinadas con el color de los pilares, todo esta perfectamente combinado, además atención es muy buena y profesional.
Al ser un lugar emblemático el cual recibe mucho turismo, es normal ver a los mesoneros atender en diferentes idiomas como portugués o inglés, yo com+i una hamburguesa con papas rústicas y jugo de fresa, estaba delicioso.
I could see inside the cafe a large number of tifanny glasses, from lamps to complete stained glass, collected by the cafe in its first century, there was one room in particular, where I spent almost half an hour, reading all the awards and gifts they have received At Cafe Tortoni, at first glance you can see the cultural interest that the place represents for Buenos Aires.
I hope you enjoy the photos and if you travel to this beautiful country, do not forget to visit this cafe, if you wish to take a souvenir of the visit to the place, they have a souvenir shop at the entrance.
Pude notar en el interior del café una gran cantidad de vidrios tifanny, desde lamparas hasta vidriales completos, coleccionados por el cafe en su primer siglo, hubo una habitación en particular, donde pase casi media hora, leyendo todos los reconocimientos y regalos que han recibido en el cafe Tortoni, a simple vista se nota en interés cultural que representa el lugar para Buenos Aires.
Espero que disfruten las fotos y si viajan a este lindo pais, no olviden visitar este café, si deseases llevar un recuerdo de la visita al lugar, tienen una tienda de souvenirs en la entrada.
