CANCUN, MEXICO A PLACE TO ENJOY. FINAL PART
Continuing with our journey through Mexico, today in the third installment we are going to tell you a little about the walk through the Archaeological zone of Tulum.
This was a walled city of the Mayan culture located in the State of Quintana Roo, in the southeast of Mexico. You are delighted listening to the story by the tour guides. Tulum was one of the most significant Mayan cities of the 13th and 14th centuries, as it was an essential stopover for the Mayan trade routes, in their exploitation of the maritime riches of the coasts of present-day Quintana Roo.
Tulum is the most emblematic site, due to its privileged location and the excellent conservation of its buildings and mural paintings. Tulum is the only walled city of the Mayan culture facing the Caribbean Sea and one of the most beautiful vestiges.
In the pyramid of the Castle of Tulum, the astronomical and maritime wisdom of the Mayans were combined. The passage of the sun at the summer and winter solstices was marked on its doors, and it served as a guide for sailors, who avoided running aground on the reef off the coast.
Finally, there are many shopping centers but you cannot miss the La Isla Shopping Village, better known as Plaza la Isla Cancún. It is a place full of shops, boutiques and restaurants
Really, that week of vacation passed us too quickly, more than we expected. When we returned we almost missed the plane, because the girl who stamped our passport did not change the date, she left it the previous year, we walked to boarding gate 18, and when we arrived we had to go back to the entrance to correct the error and passports resealed. Imagine the size of the International airport, going, coming and going from the entrance to boarding area 18, and against the clock. I think that there we finished releasing the little bit of adrenaline that we had left.
Friends, I recommend visiting Cancun, it is a spectacular tourist site.

Continuando con nuestra travesía por México, hoy en la tercera entrega vamos a contarles un poco del paseo por la zona Arqueológica de Tulum.
Esta fue una ciudad amurallada de la cultura maya ubicada en el Estado de Quintana Roo, en el sureste de México. Quedas encantado escuchando la historia por los guías turísticos. Tulum fue una de las Ciudades mayas más significativas de los siglos XIII y XIV, por ser una escala imprescindible para las rutas comerciales de los mayas, en su explotación de las riquezas marítimas de las costas del actual Quintana Roo.
Tulum es el sitio más emblemático, debido a su ubicación privilegiada y la excelente conservación de sus edificios y pinturas murales. Tulum es la única ciudad amurallada de la cultura maya frente al mar Caribe y uno de los vestigios más bellos.
En la pirámide del Castillo de Tulum, se conjuntaron la sabiduría astronómica y marítima de los mayas. Se marcaban en sus puertas el paso del sol en los solsticios de verano e invierno, y tenía la función de guía para los navegantes, quienes evitaban encallar en el arrecife frente a la costa.
Finalmente, existen muchos centros comerciales pero no puedes dejar de visitar el centro comercial La Isla Shopping Village mejor conocido como Plaza la Isla Cancún. Es un lugar lleno de tiendas, boutiques y restaurantes
De verdad que esa semana de vacaciones nos pasó demasiado rápido, más de lo que esperábamos. Al retornar casi perdemos el avión, porque la chica que nos sello el pasaporte no le cambio la fecha, le dejó el año anterior, caminamos hasta la puerta de abordaje 18, y al llegar tuvimos que regresar a la entrada para que corrigieran el error y volvieran a sellar los pasaportes. Imaginen el tamaño del aeropuerto Internacional, ir, venir y volver a ir de la entrada a zona de abordaje 18, y contra reloj. Creo que allí terminamos de liberar el poquito de adrenalina que nos quedaba.
Amigos, les recomiendo visitar Cancún, es un sitio turístico espectacular.
