I did a bit of touristing in my own town yesterday which I think is a cool thing to do from time to time. As someone who likes old stuff this trip you did is something I'd be interested in. Cripple Creek...Hopefully I'm not a cripple by the time I get there to see it.

I'm still hoping to get out and do a bit of my own gold prospecting. That may be some good spots near there still. Just still have that childhood dream of finding some real gold nuggets. Have a decent metal detector, just have to make the time to go I suppose. I hear there is still quite a bit of Gold to be found down your way as well. At least from what they show on TV.
Yeah, there's a bit around here...Faith and I would like to go do some prospecting but it's not as easy as all that I guess. You watch Aussie Gold Hunters? We watch it too...Some of those guys get some pretty decent hauls, but it' shard work. There's one about opal too, same sort of show different product. Outback opal hunters.
I think it would be cool to turn some gold up...I watch a few of your American versions of gold hunting and those chaps sure know how it's done huh? old fever is a real thing though, kind of traps a person in and makes them want more and more. I don't blame them.
