Of course I enjoyed it!
Strolling through those stone streets, lined with sidewalks and buildings that must have been very beautiful at that time of architectural splendor. It is incredible that all that was covered under the mantle of incandescent lava due to the Plinian eruption of Mount Vesuvius. And it was not only the city of Pompeii, on the other side of the volcano there was another city called Herculaneum, which was also destroyed and walled up.
It is impressive to see those petrified corpses; it must have been a heartbreaking and desperate moment....

Pasear por esas calles de piedra, embauladas con aceras y construcciones que debieron ser muy hermosas en aquella época de esplendor arquitectónico. Es increíble que todo eso quedó tapiado bajo el manto de lava incandecente a causa de la erupción pliniana del Monte Vesubio. Y mo solo fue la ciudad de Pompeya, al otro lado del volcan existió otra ciudad llamada Herculano, que también quedó destruida y tapiada.
Es impresionante ver esos cadáveres petrificados; debió haber sido un momento desgarrador y desesperante...
