Hello, fellow travelers!
In this short article, I would like to share with you my experience from yesterday. I must say, this Christmas brought me a few extra pounds as a gift. Therefore, I decided to shed them by taking a beautiful bike ride. If you've seen some of my past posts, you know I am passionate about cycling, and I enjoy using this means of transportation to explore new places, even though I prefer biking more in summer than in winter because I really feel the cold.
But since I had set my mind on this ride with a dear friend of mine, we set off early in the morning from the outskirts of Milan, where the canals practically begin. Regarding the scenery, we weren't very fortunate because I already knew there would be fog that morning, but since we had already scheduled the meeting, we decided not to postpone it.
We covered a distance of about 25 km, starting from the remote outskirts of Milan and taking advantage of the numerous bike paths created along the canals to reach the most important and modern area of Milan, which is City Life.
Probably one of the most famous areas in Milan, City Life is a large residential and commercial complex located near the renowned Portello district of Milan. Renowned architects have created this extensive complex, which is expected to be completed in 2024. Part of this area is already accessible, not only to those who live here but also to Milanese people in general and even many tourists who come here to explore.
I often come here mainly because one of Milan's largest public parks has been created in this area. It's essential to have such spaces within a city like Milan. Moreover, in this area, I believe it is designed not only for pedestrians but also for cyclists. As you have seen from my experience, this is an area from where many cycle and pedestrian connections start.
In conclusion, I can say it was a nice bike ride, although the initial part was a bit challenging due to the fog. It was truly beneficial for both my body and mind. I hope to repeat some more bike rides and share some photos with you soon, as I have a bit more time now for sports and because I aim to continue losing some physical weight.
It was interesting for you to join this virtual ride, and I hope you can explore these places for real. Wishing you a good day!
Good thing the fog didn't stop them! The scenery was really obscured at the beginning. But the city looked great afterwards. I didn't know Milan, it looks great and with interesting constructions, those buildings look like from the future. Thanks for sharing them ❣️.

Cool bicycle! It's nice riding in the mist although it can be dangerous too.
